Speaking at a brief media ceremony to officially launch the promo, Olivier Van Parys, the Managing Director of Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd. reiterated his company’s commitment to offering the best of services to its customers. Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd., he revealed, has investing heavily in product innovations and the refurbishment of its service stations into modern and more customer-friendly outlets. “Total Petroleum Ghana limited has dedicated itself to a major renovation of its service stations into a new look, making it ultramodern with more services … all in the quest to serve our customers better” he says.
He further touched on the company’s continuous support to the country through its social intervention programmes, saying “we continue to contribute to the society through social intervention programmes like our safety cube to sensitize and educate school children in high-risk areas across the country on road safety and our Startupper program which contributes to develop entrepreneurship in Ghana.”
Abdul Rahim Siddique, the Sales and Marketing Manager of Total Petroleum Ghana Ltd. who shed some light on the “Total Wo Adze Oye” stated that Total finds it “befitting to crown the year with some rewards to acknowledge our customers for their support and trust in the TOTAL brand.” He revealed that the promo covers Total’s principal products, namely fuels and would cut across all the company’s service stations nationwide.
To participate, one simply needs to purchase a minimum of GHC 60 worth of fuel by cash or GHC 50 worth using Total’s B2C card and get a scratch card. The customer would then have to scratch and text the numbers on the card to a Toll Free short code (1936) after which numbers sent to the short code would be entered into a draw at the end of every 2 weeks. Twenty (20) lucky numbers will win prizes including a hamper of car care products, insecticides and branded souvenirs; One hundred (100) GHC top-up per week for one month on the b2c card and branded souvenirs. Others include a hamper of Awango lamp (t-lite) and branded souvenirs; and Lubricants.
A final draw would be held after 6th January, 2017 where the Total’s network sites would be divided into two zones namely Northern (Kumasi and Tamale Areas) and Southern zones (Accra and Takoradi Areas). Prizes at stake during this draw would be two brand new Mitsubishi ASX GLS for 2 winners; an all-expense paid trip to Gabon to watch the AfCON 2017 for 4 winners; two Suzuki motor bikes with branded helmets for 2 winners and GHC 6000 worth of free fuel for a year for 2 customers. There would also be 7 consolation prizes of a hamper of Total products in each zone during the final raffle draw and three Samsung S7 edge phones for customers with high number of entries.
Total operates over 200 services stations across the country and was recently adjudged the “Oil Marketing Company of the year” during the Ghana Oil and Gas Award whilst its lubricant, Quartz 9000, won the “Lubricant of the Year” at the same ceremony.
