Nigerian rapper, Ademilade Alejo, popularly known as Ycee is accusing Sony Music Africa of fraud, and this shocking development comes months after he signed a deal with the music company.
Recall, in October 2016, the rapper signed an exclusive deal with the company in South Africa and confirming the deal, the General manager of the African branch of the music company, Michael Ugwu, described the rapper as the “the future of Hip Hop in Africa and will be front and centre of SME West Africa’s strategy as we take Africa to the World.”
Now, he has taken to Twitter to share his pain, accusing the company, and other persons, of raping those signed under them.
