Manny Pacquiao comes out of retirement to take a swipe at the WBO Welterweight title with Jessie Vargas this Sunday. Boxing fans in Ghana will not be left out of this action as SuperSport announces it would broadcast live this fight on SuperSport 6HD from 1am from the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.
According to Cecil Sunkwa Mills, General Manager, Multichoice Ghana, “Unlike other international broadcasters, who will be charging a premium for the fight, the event is included in DStv’s Premium and Compact Plus offering.” He explains that there will be no additional surcharges for this fight adding subscribers rather get this great fight at the recently reduced price of Ghs 365 and Ghs 245 for Premium and Compact Plus respectively.
Pacquiao’s history and experience has made him the early favourite with the odds makers in a fight billed “The Legend” vs. “The Champ.” However Vargas fans believe he can score a big upset citing his youth, hunger, drive and strength will push him to victory.
