Stonebwoy plays Reggae Geel Festival 2018 with Legends Shabba Ranks, Cocoa Tea, Protoje, Sly & Robbie

Another good news just in confirms Stonebwoy for this year’s Reggae Geel Festival 2018. Slated for Friday, August 3 and Saturday, August 4 in Belgium.

Stonebwoy will be sharing the big stage with Reggae & Dancehall legends Shabba Ranks, Cocoa Tea, Bitty MCLean, Lee Scratch Perry, Johnny Osbourne, Anthony B, Protoje as well as globally celebrated Producers, Sly & Robbie. Also listed for the festival are Romain Virgo, Etana, Mad Professor, Samory-I, King Addies & more.

2018 looks busy for Stonebwoy again on the global stages as he will be playing at Summerjam 2018 this year too with the creme-de-la-Creme of Reggae and Dancehall Artistes AND also at Reggae Sumfest in Jamaica, of all which have been confirmed for July dates.

 

Stonebwoy won “Reggae/Dancehall Artiste of the Year” at the recently ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA 2018) held over the weekend on April 14th. Makes it the 4th time he won that category consecutively. He won the VGMA 2015 “Artiste of the Year” as well as BET “Best African Act: International” in that same year, 2015. He has since played his own international tours yearly after he won the prestigious award at the VGMAs. His latest album “Epistles of Mama” was listed on Billboard “World Albums” in December 2017 and had stayed at the number one spot on Aftown.com as N.o 1 highest selling album consistent for at least 15 weeks after release.
