Ghanaian Reggae/Dancehall icon Shatta Wale has won the ‘Best African Song’ with his mega hit tune ‘Chop Kiss’ (Baby) at the International Reggae and World Music Awards 2016 in Florida, USA.
The ‘Kakai’ hitmaker beat off stiff competition from Wizkid (Nigeria) , Flavor (Nigeria) , Koffi Olomide (Congo) and Maitre Gims (Congo). This is his second award won at the IRAWMA.
The International Reggae and World Music Awards (IRAWMA) 2016 was held at the Coral Springs Centre for the Arts, Florida on Sunday , October 2, 2016.
