Collaborations on songs are everyday things. They are so popular that it is easy to take for granted the right person to feature on your song. But some artistes in Ghana have a record of never failing when featured.

  1. Samini Samini actually got into prominence as a bass vocalist featuring on a lot of songs. Interestingly, he was not the artiste who employed that style during his early days but he is the only one who has remained relevant till date. Samini’s best feature would have to be on King David’s Aaye Fe Notse.

  1. Castro Casto is sadly missing and presumably dead. But the works of a true genius still lives on and no one can seriously doubt that. Castro’s best ever feature on a song should be Sarkodie’s Adonai.
  2. Kwabena Kwabena Kwabena’s silky smooth voice is a favourite of Ghanaian music lovers. And rightly so because he is such a talented songwriter and singer. Kwabena’s best feature would be on Daddy Lumba’s remix of Enshie Wo with Okyeame Kwame.

  3. Mugeez He has been mentioned in some quarters as the most underrated musician i the last decade but Mugeez is not unnoticed. He is part of R2Bees with Paedae but it is easy to say that he seems the more talented of the two. Mugeez’s best feature is on Sarkodie’s 2007 hit Baby.

  4. Sarkodie You are in a critical minority if you are not one of those who thinks Sarkodie is Ghana’s biggest music export in the last 10 years. To say he is a good rapper is to say the very, very least about Sarkodie.

  5. Shatta Wale They say Shatta Wale mentions his name more than he actually says other things on a song. But that is a joke which should not distract us from the talent Shatta brings on board. Shatta has been featured quite a lot but his best would have to be on D2’s Fever.

  6. Stonebwoy The final name on our list is Stonebwoy Burnington. Many think that he is also one of Ghana’s biggest musical exports. Stonebwoy is not featured as much as any other person on this list but when he is, he does a pretty good job. His best feature should be on Kwaw Kese’s No More.
