The prom pictures that have been all over the internet this past few days will make you feel like you were born in a totally different era. Like, have you seen what these kids are wearing?! The Grammy’s and Met Gala red carpets have nothing on the over-the-top style choices the teenagers are making for prom. sexy cut-outs, thigh-high slits, sheer panels, sequins, lush semi-cathedral trains – prom is no longer what it used to be.
We’re green with envy and can’t help but cringe at our secondary school pictures – to think that we actually felt cool in our (relatively) ugly dresses in those days. LOL.
