The Special Anti-Robbery Squad has been in the news lately for all the wrong reasons. A lot of people have shared their gruesome personal experiences with the squad and there have been major calls for them to be scrapped using the hashtag #EndSARS trending. Celebrities like Don Jazzy, Olamide, Simi, Falz, Reekado Banks, Dremo, Jon Ogah, DJ Spinall, Sam Klef, Tjan, Lil Kesh and more have been vocal in their condemnation of the squad. Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde is also lending her voice to the outcry.

The superstar actress took to Instagram to announce that even though she hasn’t had any experience with the squad, everyone who has one deserves justice and an opportunity to express that.

She proceeded to share a post about  “10 things SARS doesn’t want you to know”

See her post below.

Quite Honestly, I have had no experience with SARS. However, that does not matter. Everyone who has had one deserves justice and an opportunity to express that. Love this ! As an Activist, this has been my dream! Hopefully with the youth now getting fedup, the momentum has started! We also need lawyers who can take up cases pro-Bono upfront to get paid on winning the case and judges who will allow Nigeria be great so their children and children’s children can inherit peace and prosperity. #KNOWLEDGEOFTHELAW #KNOWYOURRIGHTS. #Repost @officialhiptv with @instatoolsapp ・・・ 10 things some SARS officers don’t want you to know – 1.Bail is free 2.Upon arrest, you are liable to remain silent; Section 6 of the ACJA Act 2015; Section 35(2) 1999 Constitution 3.
