MzVee, Kuami Eugene and KiDi wow thousands in Brong Ahafo

It’s been a different story as the MzVee, Kuami Eugene and KiDi thrilled 1000s of fans and music lovers in Kintampo, Techiman and Wenchi from Friday 8th of September to 10th September with the electrifying performance.
SALLAFEST is an event been organized by Sunset Entertainment, a firm based in Brong Ahafo which is aimed at entertainment mostly. The founder of this firm(Sunset Entertainment)  goes by name Zakaria Luqman but known in the showbiz as Gerry Gee-De General, a renowned radio presenter based in Sunyani Metro Fm who also was a product of Winners Fm in Techiman, Gaskiya Fm in Techiman and Fiila Fm in Tamale. He was the After Drive host and also the entertainment show(Sunset Entertainment) host of Metro fm.

The maiden edition of SALLAFEST started it’s journey from Kintampo on the 8th which saw 1000s of people who as at now can’t believe the BET nominee and award winning dancehall Queen (MzVee)  along side her colleagues from LYNX ENTERTAINMENT, KiDi a product from MTN HIT MARKER season 4 and happen to be the winner and also the fastest rising artist Kuami Eugene who was also a product of MTN HIT MARKER season 5 and happen to be the 2nd runner up made it to their town just to finish the salla with them. It was still a doubt as MzVee will come to Kintampo as they don’t believe as high profile artist as she is will make it up until her voice was heard live on Adars Fm, a radio station based in Kintampo and also Nkomode fm. Fans went gaga as MzVee came on stage to give them the best of their songs and performances. The night saw some performance of songs from her like ,Daavi,Borko borko, Natural gul, come over, Rewind,mensuro obiaa and whole lots.She give out her best and called KiDi on stage with whom she performed a song with (Naadu)  and pave way for him to also perform some of his songs like, Ewurama, say you love me, odo and lots. Later Kuami Eugene also came on stage which made fans and music lovers in Kintampo get mad the more when he performed Hiribabab,Ebeyeyie,boom bang bang,show dem and his newly released songs treading and making airwaves ‘Angela’. It was a shock for the turn out as there have never been an event that saw about 1000 people.

The train proceeded to Techiman and in fact words couldn’t express the kind of joy and happiness in the hearts of music lovers. Their out standing performance gave the town a talking point till now. Techiman have witness lots of artist in the likes of Yaa Pono, Edem, Tutulapato, Nero X, Eno, Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale,Obrafour and lots but this SALLAFEST tops all with that outstanding crowd which stood till 3am to see MzVee, Kuami Eugene and KiDi on stage that night.

The whole show ended at Wenchi which also was a great show upon it there been rain for some hours but fans still stood in and made sure their artist is seen giving them their best of performances.
Speaking to the founder of Sunset Entertainment (Gerry Gee), he said he was shocked upon the turn out as he never expected such crowd and more to point the artist performing for over 3 solid hours. He can’t simply wait till next year to bring them back to Brong Ahafo.

SUNSET ENTERTAINMENT & LYNX ENTERTAINMENT are now the biggest family in terms of program organizing and producing artist.
