Mayorkun isn’t of the opinion that the two Nigerian music heavy-weights, Davido and Wizkid are beefing.
As the question of a possible feud between Nigeria’s biggest artistes, Wizkid and Davido keeps arising with both fueling the rumours with subliminal messages, other artistes have been weighing in with their opinion on the rivalry.
While HKN artiste, Danagog in his interview with Hip TV was of the opinion that Davido is superior to Wizkid, another artiste affiliated to Davido has taken a different stance.
Eleko singer, Mayorkun told the channel that “he has never been in a gathering where Davido speaks ill of Wizkid”.
He dispelled the rumour stressing that he doesn’t think there’s a feud between both artistes.
“Is there a feud? ‘cos me i’ve never been in a gathering where i see David talking about Wizkid, me i don’t know o, somebody else might have, but for me i’ve never seen. I don’t even think there is a feud to be honest, I think all these things is just jonze” He said
Mayorkun also spoke on his relationship with Wizkid.. He said:
“Since i signed, i don’t think i’ve ever seen Wizkid. I’m a huge fan o, in fact you can’t even fathom how big of a fan i am of Wizkid. But since i’ve signed i don’t think i’ve seen him, i don’t think we’ve had any one on one discussion cos i think since last year he has been out of the country. Me i don’t have problem, i can work with anybody”
