“Clowns” single and video released in January 2017 has chromed a major nomination for the Dancehall Singjay in this year’s Urban Music Awards UK.
The 15th edition of the Urban Music Awards (UMA’s) is scheduled to take place in London precisely Porchester on the 30th November 2017. UMA’s is an award ceremony that reflects what has been a truly successful year for British urban music.
The “Money Box” megahit act, Jupitar is competing with other greats, Wizkid, Mr. Eazi, Tekno, Tiwa Savage, Lorine Chia, Vanessa Mdee, Yemi Alade, Casper Nyovest and Sauti Sol in the “Artist of the Year (Africa)” category. His “Clown” music video is also nominated in the “Best Music Video” category.
This is a plus to our creative industry and the entire nation at large. Jupitar for the past years has mastered his music craft, levelled up his game, added up a lot of efforts and is doing everything possible to reach the height he desires to achieve. It’s very important to note that he is the only Ghanaian act to be nominated for this prestigious awards ceremony. Bring home the plaque, we wish you all the best.
