This month, DStv golf fans in Ghana are in for an exciting treat when SuperSport opens two channels to air the Open Championship, which starts at Royal Birkdale in England this Thursday says Cecil Sunkwa Mills, General Manager, MultiChoice Ghana.

He explains that DStv Premium customers will have front-row access to watch the world’s greatest golfers via the world feed on SS2 while the supplementary feed featuring updates, marquee groups, three-hole feed will be available on SS11.

“Customers are at the heart of all our decisions; we fully appreciate their rich taste for sports and the pressures they face, thus fueling the 50% cut in our decoder price” he iterated. He urged customers to visit any DStv dealer to purchase a fully installed HD Zapper decoder at GHs 149.

Additionally, there will be an array of build-up programming scheduled on SS11, including Duel of the Sons, the story of the 145th Open Championship, Chronicles of a Champion Golfer (SS2 from 2pm on Wednesday) and the official Open Championship films from 2010 to 2016, which includes the triumphs of Louis Oosthuizen (2010) and Ernie Els (2012).

The official films content will play from 5.30am on Wednesday until 7am this Thursday on SS11. Both the world feed and the supplementary feed will be live streamed on Supersport.com via SS2 and SS11.
