The launch took place in the company of top showbiz figures as Benny Blanco, Kweku T, Yvonne Nelson, KOD, and a host of others at the Viva Boutique on Thursday. Also present was husband and soccer star Sulley Muntari, and their son Jamal.
The beauty product, first launched in England and Italy (2016) is formulated from premium Ghanaian shear butter, and come in three fragrances: Black Orchid, Olive, and Praline.
The former model and philanthropist extolled the qualities of she butter, pointing out how it constantly came in handy wherever she was in the world: “I carried shea butter with me around the world as it was aa product used in my home in Ghana since childhood as a cure for every ailment”, she said.
“I spent nearly two years in the lab developing the SHE-Y Body Cream before it was released”, Menaye revealed. ” The result is a velvety texture super-boost of hydration to ultimately maintain flawless and ageless skin”, she further stated.
She also submitted that the product was developed in consultation with leading chemists and laboratories in Italy, and part of the proceeds go to the Menaye School of Hope in the Central Region.
