The sixth episode of ‘Shoot Your Shot’ with Bisola Aiyeola had us in our feelings. Lilian Onyejekwe, a 23-year-old model and Mass Communications undergraduate finally summoned up the courage to confess her feelings to her crush, Emeka.
The two met at the mall a while back and it was love at first sight for Lilian. They struck up a conversation and ended up exchanging numbers.
And even though they kept in touch, the topic of dating each other never really came up. This was a bit confusing for Lilian because Emeka had told her on a number of occasions that he liked her. Well, as the saying goes, if the mountain won’t go to Mohammed, then Mohammed will have to go to the mountain.
Lilian decided to take things into her own hands by reaching out to the Shoot Your Shot team who helped her set up an intimate dinner to woo Emeka.
With the help of Bisola, they were able to lure Emeka to dinner.
Now Emeka, a 30-year-old fitness model, and the instructor have been in an unhappy relationship and have been looking for the perfect opportunity to break it off but he’s not looking to start a new relationship right away. So when Lilian poured out her heart to him, he told her as much.
Lilian was understandably heartbroken having gone the length to show him how she feels about him.
But just as she was beginning to think there was no hope for them, Emeka had a change of mind and said yes to her.
The episode ended with hugs, kisses, and a few tears of joy.
