Last night in Calabar, Cross River State, a new Miss Africa was crowned at an event hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu and Bonang Matheba.
The new queen, Dorcas Kasinde from Congo, beat other contestants including Nigeria’s Chimamaka Goodness Nnaemeka who finished second, and Zambia’s Gladys Kayumba who came in at third place, to win the crown.
Dorcas who also won a cash prize of 35,000 dollars and a brand new SUV takes over from Gaseangwe Balopi.
