When Chris Brown performed in Ghana for the first some few years ago, he was rumored to have charged $1 millon so it is not surprising that his first appearance in Kenya is costing fans an arm and a leg!.

According to reports, the American R&B superstar will be performing in Mombasa at the Mombasa Golf Club on 8th October. Also on the bill is Nigerian superstar, Wizkid.

The event is called the Mombasa Rocks Music Festival and it will be a twelve hour outdoor music festival. Moet Hennessy are the main sponsors of the show.

Ticket prices? For a regular ticket fans have to fork out Ksh10,000, VIP goes for Ksh20,000 and VVIP ticket will be Ksh50,000. Clearly its not for the mass market.
