Cardi B assured Nicki Minaj and everyone else that she has more fashion collaborations on the way other than her deal with Fashion Nova, and it seems she is right after all.
The rapper just unveiled her partnership with sportswear giant, Reebok and it’s a pretty dope one.
Leveraging on the “dad sneaker” trend, the brand and Cardi dug into their archives to bring back their iconic Aztrek sneaker.
Cardi is seen wearing the rebranded pair as she poses with her tongue out in the photo announcing the collaboration.
According to Elle:
There’s no word on what the future of the Cardi B x Reebok partnership looks like, but Reebok described the “Money” rapper as its “ideal collaborator.”
“Everything that you love about Cardi B is what you love about Reebok,” the brand said in a press release, adding, “there’s nothing we love more than taking risks and standing boldly behind those who do the same.”
“Cardi isn’t just a world-class entertainer,” the brand continued. “She’s a mother, a style icon, a pop culture magnet and–above all else–a fearless individual. She’s broken every mold that superstars are supposed to fit into—and she’s reached the top by following nobody’s path but her own.”
