Earlier this month, quick-witted lyricist Zagga inked a new deal resulting in a major overhauling of his management team.  According to the singer, the agreement sees the annexation of several noted industry professionals to his current setup, all of whom are collectively tasked with the guidance of his career.

“This agreement is a good move for my career at this time, as my new team who is very experienced, will now undertake all administrative and professional responsibilities for my career, allowing me more time to be creative and concentrate on making music.” – Zagga intimated.

Similar sentiments were echoed by his newly acquired manager Squidell, “Zagga is a great artiste and prolific songwriter. However, it is important to note that talent without proper guidance and direction will only lead to frustration and failure. Hence, we must ensure his skill-sets are harnessed in the best way possible.”

Coming on the heels of this new partnership, Zagga has already allied with several accomplished production outlets including DJ Frass Records and  Unity Sound, the latter based in Japan and the U.S, for his first two singles of the year. The reggae-infused tracks titled, ‘Holding On‘ and  ‘Good Vibes Only‘ were premiered a few weeks apart with the accompaniment of official videos via VEVO. The songs will also form part of his upcoming EP. Though still untitled the project is slated for release later this year.

Best known for his work with Chimney Records, a partnership that has yielded several fruitful projects such as  “Change”, “Remember The Days” (Chill Spot Riddim), “Never Give Up” (Tropical Escape Riddim), “My Destination” (Rising Sun Riddim) and “Free Up” (Happy Hour Riddim) featuring Tarrus Riley among others.  Zagga says he will continue to work with the production house amid focusing his energy on broadening and elevating his craft and becoming a quintessential artiste across the globe.
