Last night, the “Sweet Loving” crooner beat 7 other contenders, including Nigerian stars Davido, Mr. Eazi and Tekno, to win this year’s BET Best International Act: Africa Awards at a pre-BET Awards show in Los Angeles.
Although the awards ceremony proper holds on Sunday, June 25, in Los Angeles, the United States, winners of some categories are always announced days before the D-Day.
