Adeola Ariyo On Hair Knockout (Season 2)

Adeola Ariyo and Chef Winnie

International Nigerian model Adeola Ariyo hosts season two of Hair Knockout. The 13-episode series sees talented stylists take each other on in a boxing ring to see whose hair creation will take the title. The 30-minute long show is a thrilling hairstyling competition in which one of the stylists will reign supreme. In a studio-based boxing ring, two stylists go toe to toe for the prize. In each episode, they are tasked with creating the best version of a particular style. They have a limited amount of time and resources. At the end of each episode, the team hits the streets to find out which style people think is the best. The show airs every Tuesday at 5:30 pm on Honey TV.

Pearl Umeh on The Buzz – Season 7 (On-air)

Pearl Umeh and Chef Winnie

Nigerian-born Pearl Umeh continues to shine on the most popular talk show, The Buzz on Honey TV for a fifth season. She alongside four other women, including Anele Mdoda, Davina Mavuwa, Rachel Mwangemi, Zanna Katoka, share their opinions and anecdotes on everyday life issues. The 13-episode packed season is driven by an ‘agony aunt type’ letter outlining a viewer’s dilemma – be it about romance, health, their hustle, family or friends. The Buzz team offer their advice and through the course of the 30-minute episode, they reveal more details around the conundrum. To conclude, they vote on the matter. It airs on Mondays and Wednesdays at 5 pm on the TV station.
