It is that time of the year where everyone has mentally shut down, but our bodies keep showing up for work. Ugh!
Anyway, one way to maximize that much-deserved break is to unwind with every episode of the OffAir show. Good news, a brand-new episode will be in full swing today, and it’s undoubtedly one to watch to catch the latest scoop.
Here are five reasons why you shouldn’t miss the eighth episode of the OffAir show:
Premium Banters
This is one show where you can find juicy gossip, tea and banter on practically any topic, including BBL, polyamory, divorce, sex, lavish Nigerian weddings, you name it. It is not your regular talk show because you get to unpack the latest gist in town with Gbemi and Toolz. It was on the show we got to listen to how BBNaija star, Hermes, manages two women in a romantic relationship and how guys can also get liposuction *stares weirdly*
No-Holds-Barred Conversations
The headline speaks for itself.
It’s an unscripted talk show where Gbemi and Toolz say it as it is. No sugar-coating or filters. The discussions are of the sorry-not-sorry type, and stray bullets can hit anyone at any time. If you need proof, watch the first episode of the show where Toolz told us that the only thing she knows about Nigerian singer, Oritsefemi, is that he bleaches.
Celebrity Guests
Gist is not sweet until it is shared with someone, which is why your favourite celebrities are brought on the show to analyze every conversation with their opinions. It’s usually filled with laughter, revealed secrets and of course, positive vibes. On the OffAir show, you get to see your celebrity friends in their true individuality. For instance, we got to hear Toke Makinwa’s rise to fame, and how she deals with trolls. Also, we overheard that a certain popular celebrity had some Birkin bags that the Birkin brand itself isn’t even aware of. *SIPS TEA*
Fashion Statements
Fashion lovers, get in here! We’re not sure whether you’ve noticed but Gbemi and Toolz have been slaying hard on the show with no misses. Everything about them, from their clothing to their hair and makeup, just sort of melds together to make a fashion statement. At this point, we should run their glam squad a fat cheque for the fantastic work they’ve done on each of them so far. Another valid reason to watch the show? For style inspiration.
New Knowledge
As you all know, learning is a continuous process. A wise man once said, when you stop learning, you start dying. Beyond the banter and gist, you are sure to learn one or two things from various topics on marriage, relationship, sex, fashion and so on. At least for us, we learnt from Toolz in the first episode that you should never visit a guy without having ‘vex money’ to avoid stories that touch.
