The season 9 of MTN Project Fame West Africa is at its tail end and only six contestants made it to the finals from the 18 contestants that kicked off in the academy and the thousands of other applicants that failed at the auditions.

The winner of #ProjectFame9.0 will be announced On Sunday, September 25, 2016, and only one out of the final six contestants will emerge as Winner. The final six contestants are Kitay, Elizabeth, Pere, Okiemute, Dapo and Winner.

The prize to be won by the Winner is N5 Million, a brand new SUV, and a recording contract worth millions of naira while the 1st runner-up will walk away with N3 Million and a brand new saloon car. The 2nd runner-up will win N2 Million and a brand new saloon car while the 3rd runner-up will win N2 Million.

We believe Kitay will walk away with the top prize of the season 9 of MTN Project Fame. The Warri-born Kitay Okotete is a 300 Level student of the Vocation & Technical Studies Department of the Ambrose Alli University in Edo state. He also auditioned for Project Fame in Season 8 in Abuja, but he did not make it to top 24 even though he got a YES.

Kitay is a favourite to win the show because he possesses the vocal dexterity of a winner having only gone on probation once asides from when all the contestants were placed on probation. He is also a fan favourite which is why he will most likely poll a lot of votes from fans that have no special affiliation to any of the contestants.

Nonetheless, Elizabeth is another most likely winner because she is well loved by the fans of the show. She is a great performer who like Kitay has been able to match her vocals with excellent stage craft. The pretty gap-toothed Mass Communication graduate of The Polytechnic, Ibadan (Eruwa Campus), Oyo State has a particular niche of voters from the southwest region of Nigeria which can work in her favour.

With that being said, the other contestants also have a good stake at the top prize as they are no pushovers. Dapo who is a systems Engineering student at the University of Lagos can also draw enough votes to stake a claim and same goes with Pere, Winner and Okiemute.

Who do you think will emerge as the winner?
