Versatile Nigerian entertainer, Falz recently announced his first ever headline show, The Falz Experience, a cinematic music concert set to hold on Wednesday, December 20th. Described as a total entertainment spectacle, the event is being produced by Livespot renowned for ground-breaking and out-of-town concepts, and Bahd Guys Entertainment, the record label founded by Falz.

It is becoming more common to see A-list Nigerian artistes, during end of year festivities, organise their own self-sponsored headline shows where they directly engage their core fans. This year, dates have already been announced for big names in the music industry with a fan base, discography and clout to pull thousands of fans for a paid show that lasts for hours.

Amongst his peers however, Falz is specially advantaged due to the fact that he is almost as well known for his music success as he is for comic performances and acting, which has seen him build up a following of over 3 million on social media, and got him major Nollywood film roles, that have earned him a well respected pan-African acting award, Best in a Comedy Series/ Movie for the 2016 Africa Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA).

This multiplicity of Falz’s talent – in music, acting and comedy, plus the ambitious nature of a larger than life production for The Falz Experience is expected to attract thousands of entertainment fans to Eko Convention Centre at Victoria Island on December 20. It also provides an understandable explanation for the big budget attributed to the event’s planning and execution.

The Falz Experience is billed to feature other artistes that have collaborated with Falz in the past, such as Simi, YCee, Davido, Olamide, Tekno, Reekado Banks, Ajebutter 22, Yemi Alade, among others.
