John Boyega has finally reacted to the accusation leveled against his bodyguard by media personality, Toke Makinwa.
The Hollywood actor was a guest at Cool FM, where he was answering questions from OAPs, Daddy Freeze, and Kaylah Oniwo.
“Toke Makinwa reportedly assaulted by John Boyega’s bodyguard,” Daddy Freeze had said, reading an headline from a news website to the actor.
John clearly surprised by this headline responded; “First of all, first of all, who is that,” he said. He looked surprised as he claimed not to know who Toke Makinwa is and even referred to her as “that.”

He further explained that he wasn’t aware that the incident happened as he doesn’t know who Toke Makinwa is.
He also said he doesn’t have any bodyguard in Lagos as he was on vacation and definitely didn’t kick anyone out of a bar or restaurant.
It would be recalled that at the beginning of the year, precisely in January, Toke Makinwa raised an alarm over what she called an assault on her physically by John Boyega’s bodyguard at a highbrow restaurant in Lagos.
The beautiful media personality who appeared to be really angry over the incident took to her Instagram page on Thursday, January 4, 2017, where she wrote a really detailed account of what happened at the said restaurant which is situated in the premises of Eko Hotel and Suites.
According to her, even though she had an early flight to catch, she wanted to make clear her experience in the hands of the bodyguard to Hollywood actor, John Boyega. She feels that if she was a guy she wouldn’t have been treated in such manner.
Toke went on to write about how she was not only embarrassed but also prevented from being served in the restaurant until John Boyega came in and the bodyguard gave the management the go-ahead. Toke Makinwa felt highly disrespected.
