We don’t need guns and violence in our music industry – Producer @CaskeysOnit

A record producer of the Irie ites studio Ghana Castan has advised reggae and dancehall artiste in Ghana not to compose songs tainted with guns and violence. He added that artist such as Vibes Cartel whose songs somehow encourage violence have found themselves at the wrong side of the law and as such it would be expedient for Ghanaian reggae ad dancehall artiste not to tow those lines. He rather advised that they could instead concentrate on love and other positive vibes.

He made this revelation on Radio Central 92.5 and 91.3 during an interview with D. C. KWAME Kwakye on the reggae and dancehall show “joy in the morning” today.

When asked about the Irie Ites studio’s vision, he answered that they are in business to produce rhythms for artistea in Ghana to meet international standards and that they are even in some form of collaboration with some Jamaicans in that direction.

Castan also explained that currently they working with artist on their current “one step rhythm”. When asked about his favourite artist on that rhythm he hesitated to answer but said he enjoyed Renner’s song for just the reason that she is the only female artiste on the rhythm.

He concluded the interview with D.C. KWAME KWAKYE by saying they would be organising a concert and looking forward to getting aritste like Samini and other big guns in the industry on the bill.

He added that fans should look forward for better rhythms come next year from Iriei ites studio.

On the same show sensational up and coming reggae musician  Pinches Palmer domiciled in the Volta Region but from Cape Coast also was granted an interview about his preparations towards the launch or his maiden album entitled ” Enroute to Cape Coast.

It’s a twelve track album and he believes he is the artists to showcase Cape Coast to the world.

He is a nurse by profession but the reggae thing is in him and he has therefore decided to showcase that talent alongside his other profession. Watch out for Pinches Palmer.
