Nollywood actor Charles Okocha surprised his fans when he suddenly announced his wedding on Instagram on November 5, 2024.
Sharing adorable photos with his fiancée, the actor also revealed his wedding hashtag #MICHARLES2024.
The “phenomenal” actor has finally shared more details on why he decided it was time for him to walk down the aisle with his lover.
Speaking in an interview with Punch, Okocha explained how he and his lover had been dating secretly for seven years and finally decided that it was time to settle down.
He said, “I am getting married because it’s only right for me to be married. We have been dating since 2017, quietly, with no social media show of affection. She lives in America and is a nurse. So, it is true.”
The father of two from previous relationships, also revealed that his kids had taken the news well.
“My kids are very comfortable and happy with the news,” he said.
The wedding was eventually held over the weekend and it was star-studded with the likes of Cubana ChiefPriest, Obi Cubana, and Kanayo O. Kanayo among others.
