The Wango Wango tourism train will be heading to the Volta Region in style this September for the Asotime Kente Festival in Kpetoe. Join the fun for a Wangotastic tour offer of #Ghc665 which includes transport and lodging at the peak-perched Abraerica Hotel.
Meanwhile on Saturday, August 6, and thanks in part to our friends at InvestEye Capital Partners and digital arm of Oxygen Ghana, whose spontaneous donations made it possible, Wango Wango careered on and executed its scheduled day-return Kakum road trip, rescheduling the overnight “Big Abandze Sleepover” for lack of patronage.
As the most popular of Ghana’s tourist destinations, everyone seems to have been to the Central Region and would rather want to join us on our adventures further afield. But, what they don’t know is how much of a difference all of our tours make, because of the attention to detail we place on them to give that different and more fulfilling life experiences.
For instance, the live cooking we do at the picnics we arrange with mouth-watering delicious meals. And the knowledgeable guides who give commentary and bring destinations alive!
But, in spite of the lack of traction, there was another endearing reason why we decided to carry on with the tour, however much it would cost. We had promised to go with a cancer patient who has been adopted by our charity of choice, Little Angels Trust.
Although he has done Kakum once before, brave 15 year old young Isaac’s excitement to cross all 7 bridges of the canopy walkway again, made it all worth while for us. Unfortunately, though, suffering a setback the night before, we felt advised to devoid him of further anxiety, so we had to abandon taking him.
Isaac’s zest for life in the face of his pain and illness is such an inspiration for us all. He manifests the 3 tenets of the WangoWango philosophy; Breathe. Experience. Nourish.
Nevermind what you are doing or going through, the great outdoors has healing, and when you add great company and the laughter that WangoWango brings to our tours, you nourish your soul with great experiences and memories!
We are looking forward to doing a trip with Isaac soon. To give him a memorable occasion to laugh and breathe in life! Isaac himself is looking forward to it, and says he’s “doing what I want with no restrictions because the rules don’t own me.”
Be like Isaac. Don’t let the rules own you. Get out and breathe. Experience our country. And nourish your soul with WangoWango!
On the forefront of the domestic travel movement, WangoWango is changing the game, and making travelling internally sexy, as we carefully consider every aspect of your journey: “from location to accommodations to food to activity to cultural immersions.”
At WangoWango, our mission is simple: to help people create complete life experiences that address inner peace and wellbeing.
