Nigerian culture has slowly been rubbing off on the rest of the world. Our music, food, lifestyle and fashion are projected to the rest of the world and it has slowly transitioned from a growing trend to a culture.
W Magazine in their latest issue spotlighted some Nigerian Creatives who are expanding the culture.
Amongst them were fashion designer and owner of androgynous fashion line Orange Culture, Adebayo Oke-Lawal; Author Akwaeke Emezi; Model Elizabeth Ayodele; Musician Jidenna; writer Teju Cole; London based fashion designer Mowalola Ogunlesi; Artist, Njideka Akunyili Crosby; Jimmy Ayeni, founder of London streetwear brand Vivendii; Ola Badiru and Anthony Oye, who collaborated with Virgil Abloh’s Off-White and Nike on a limited-edition jersey for the Nigerian football team this year.
