During the week, Volta Region’s MUSIGA chairperson Tony D together with StandOut Entertainment’s CEO Bright Ellis and other committee members who would spearhead the “Volta Music Project”, were in the capital where a meeting was held with Appietus to discuss steps towards the VMP and other prospective happenings that will hit the creative arts sector of the region soon.
The “Volta Music Project” is the maiden initiative rolled out from Appietus’ “Musical Regions” catalogue and it is enabling ten(10) budding artistes from the region to receive professional music coaching and also record at no cost with Appietus.
To Mr Appiah Dankwah best known as Appietus, he is championing this course because of our nation’s diverse musical cultures and the need to export them, “We have talents we need to export as cultural exchange programs but they don’t have the requisite sounds and production. That is why this project is very dear to my heart”, he said.
On May 12, 2018, the officials of this opportunity including Appietus will be present at Freedom Hotel in Ho to pick the ten(10) artistes who would qualify on merit.
However, the ace Music Sound Engineer and Producer expressed his profound believe in the music talents the region possesses and called for the patronage of the project since it’s a springboard initiative for which he is committing resources along with other regional stakeholders.
