Volta 1 TV officially launches “Ewe Danu” reality show

GlobaFest Ltd. the mother company of Volta 1 TV and Global 105.1 FM in Ho has officially launched a musical reality show dubbed Ewe Danu.

The launch took place at the prestigious Sky Plus Hotel on Monday February 8, 2021 in Ho.

Speaking at the launch, Operations manager of GlobaFest Ltd. Mr. Bright Ellis reiterated the readiness of Volta 1 TV ahead of Ewe Danu and the fact the company has the human resource to be able to deliver any task.

Ewe Danu, as the name suggests, is a musicial reality show which seeks to unearth talent from various parts of the Volta region and further project them to the global entertainment scene.

“We cannot successfully achieve this goal without your support. It is our prayer that you support us by way of sponsorship” Event Manager, Mr. Paul Mensah Anku stated.

Event Coordinator Mr. Jerome Afegbe a.k.a Jerome Bigx mentioned the guidelines governing Ewe Danu. They include participants being 18 years and above and of a sound mind and being affiliated to the Volta region. He further stated that forms are already out for free till 10th March.

Ewe Danu will be live on Volta 1 TV every saturday at 8pm with a repeat telecast on tuesdays and thursdays at 4pm.

Ewe Danu will span between the period of 14 – 16 weeks and will be broadcasted in Ewe language with a fair representation of English.

The ultimate winner of Ewe Danu walks home with a cash prize, recording deal, promotional deal and other consolation prizes.
