Shafer Records is the brainchild of a South African-based entrepreneur, Isaiah Oyibo (Shafer), founded as a wholly independent music label on February 17th, 2016. The label is home to multi-talented recording artistes such as, Theory (Samuel Oyibo), Luqi (UtibeNdah Mackenzie), and Eluku (LameedTemitayoLukmon).
These creative talents in Hip-Hop, Rap, RnB, and Soul music have all brought in their diverse musical experiences and this has helped a great deal in laying solid foundation for the label in the global music industry.
The first single released under the label was by Theory titled ‘Changes’ is presently enjoying massive promotion on South African and Nigerian airwaves. The video is also on video streaming platform, YouTube. This artiste has also recorded hit songs with some notable Nigerian artists such as Vector, amongst others.
This November Shafer Records will be coming out in grand style as they prepare to showcase talent and create effective awareness in the music industry. Theory’s new song featuring rap super star – Vector, will be dropping on all major platform this month and the song was prods by Del B.
