Akofa, on 19th December 2020 received a citation of honor at the
6th edition of the Golden Movie Awards, which was held at the Fantasy Dome(trade fair)
Akofa Edjeani who is under the management of MK content hasbeen critically acclaimed as
Ghana’s aceactress.A graduate of the school of
Performing Arts, University of Ghana, Legon where
shestudiedTheatreArts(Drama). She is amulti
award-winning actress and holds acertificate inPR,
Marketing and advertisingfrom theGhana Institute
of Journalism(1995) and has been acting for over two(2) decades. Akofa is also a producer as well as the proprietressof “Fali’sHotPot”, an
eatery inKanda, Accra. “I Sing of AWell”, the
movie she starred in and producedas well, won 3
awards and the Best Jury Award from AMAA in 2010 and also an award from BATFA at the Pan African Film Festivals in Los Angeles.
Akofa is set to take Ghanaian Film production and acting to another level as she seeks to project African culture and excellence to the international world and to bridge the gap between culture and development.
