Many of us know Karo Omu by the Twitter handle @duchesskk.
For some, she is the face of the battle to get pads to young women and girls who are unable to afford it, but to others?
She’s the perfect person to give your ‘fire’ photos a caption for social media platforms like Instagram and Twitter.
What started as a joke and a few laughs has caught on with a hashtag #TweetLikeKaro.
How did the hashtag start?
Karo is known for posting pictures of herself and sometimes her daughter with hilarious captions that she has made up.
Like this one:
Dem dey judge who be finest babe, as I enter court, judge shout “Case Dismissed”. Original fine babe don show. pic.twitter.com/47RXH43w6X
— Slay Queen (Period Partner) (@duchesskk) August 23, 2018
Or this one:
Saw a picture of myself and I had to send my mum a congratulations text. Na she born the finest babe pic.twitter.com/LS3JfpvUhh
— Slay Queen (Period Partner) (@duchesskk) August 20, 2018
And this one too:
When you’re currently slaying but already thinking of your next slay. pic.twitter.com/8G4VTREqHu
— Slay Queen (Period Partner) (@duchesskk) August 13, 2018
So you get the point.
And the rest of Twitter?
But Twitter wasn’t going to let her have all the fun alone. Young women have taken to posting their photos and coming up with creative ways to describe their beauty.
Of course with the accurate accompanying hashtag which was first used by Twitter user @AgentKole.

There is a #TweetlikeKaro and I am dying!
— Slay Queen (Period Partner) (@duchesskk) August 23, 2018
Luckily, after she discovered it, she’s retweeted most with her followers.
