The trio was serving a four-month prison sentence imposed on them after they were found guilty of having made contemptuous statements and death threats against the lives of Supreme Court Justices on a Montie FM radio programme.
Following their incarceration, friends and family of the trio started petitions which were signed by various people, including top government officials calling on President Mahama to grant the “remorseful” bunch a presidential remission.
