When it comes to cute celebrity relationships we just cannot get enough of, Tom Holland and Zendaya are at the very top of our list.
The couple has made it to the news once again and this time it is Holland spilling why he avoids attending red carpets with his lover.
We are all aware of how super supportive of Zendaya the Spider man actor has been ever since their relationship became official. There is however, one thing that fans have noticed and that is they are rarely together on red carpets.
Well, Holland has finally opened up about why he opts to stay behind the scenes during her big events.
Speaking with Men’s Health in a recent interview, the actor noted that while he is very much in love with Zendaya, they deliberately avoid posing together on a red carpet. At least this is since since their last joint project (2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home).
Giving his reason, Holland stated that even though he attends her movie premieres, he generally avoids doing the red carpet with her he wants the moment to be for her and not about the both of them.
“It’s not my moment, it’s her moment, and if we go together, it’s about us,” he said in the interview.
Holland also added that he skips most non-mandatory events for that same reason: He does not want to take attention away from the other actors.
The actor also shared more details about his relationship with Zendaya. According to him, they are both parents of two dogs, Noon and Daphne.
He also added how he and Zendaya have spoken in the past about their interest in having a family someday.
“When I have kids, you will not see me in movies anymore. [It’ll just be] golf and dad. And I will just disappear off the face of the earth,” he said.
Both Tom and Zendaya are set to star in upcoming projects, including Spider-Man 4 and The Odyssey, which are expected to release in 2026. It is however not clear if they will attend those red carpets together and fans can only wait to see.
