Toke Makinwa stepped out yesterday in a dazzling yellow bejeweled dress for Cobhams Asuquo’s album listening party, but her interesting Sunday was almost overshadowed by Instagram trolls criticising her weight — one of them includes South Africa-based Nigerian model Tamar Awobotu.
Many of the comments were offensive, some plain ludicrous as they assumed that the media guru look ‘tired’ and they offered unsolicited advice, asking her to take a rest.
“Can someone tell this lady that ” I Tarmar says no more gym?” the hotness is enough.. @tokemakinwa you look like a school kid now,” Tamar said. And another Instagrammer @sholamiposi, added, “U look anorexic tho.. Pls stp already.”
