Most days are ordinary days because every thing falls in place and goes according to plans and then there are those other days where you feel you’ve bitten more than you can chew. On those not so good, the key to staying cool and keeping a clear head is to just be calm.
Here are some tips on how to stay calm:
Meditate: This is the most important. Before you do anything in the morning, try to take at least a 30 minute break to meditate. This calms you and mentally prepares you for the day ahead.
Breathe: If you feel really stressed out, take a minute to breathe. Take 5 deep breaths in and out. It helps to center your thoughts.
Take a music time out: Music sends calming signals. The type of music you listen to also defines your personality. Take a song break when you’re stressed or you’re up in the middle of the night.
Get outside: Don’t sit in a spot all day. Try to get a few minutes of natural sunlight. It helps to clear your head and boost your brain function and immunity.
Stay Hydrated: Drink lots and lots of water. Drinking water and peeing actually have therapeutic effects.
