Following additional investments to optimize their network including a dual carrier expansion within the Greater Accra, Ashanti and Western regions, CIMG Telecom Company of the Year, Tigo, has launched exciting daily, weekend, weekly and monthly integrated bundles with free YouTube for customers.

The ‘Bingi’ bundles gives customers unbeatable access to both local and international calls, data to browse and text messages for as little as GHS 3 a day. Additionally customers also get free data to watch or stream anything on YouTube – a fantastic opportunity to experience the newly upgraded Tigo network.

Explaining the rationale for the new bundles, the Chief Commercial Officer for Tigo, Tara Squire, said: “This product is in response to customers demand for value for money and greater choice. Over the Christmas holidays, we piloted free all-night YouTube and the uptake was fantastic. It is based on this success that we have developed the ‘Bingi’ bundles to meet the needs of customers with a big appetite for calls, internet, text messages and more specifically videos on YouTube”.

“We are offering free YouTube because our data speeds are the best since we introduced a second carrier on some of our cell sites. The YouTube streaming experience is seamless, internet calls are much more enjoyable and we have also seen a significant improvement in the clarity of voice calls”, he added.

The Tigo ‘Bingi’ Bundle is open to both new and existing prepaid subscribers. Customers can choose a preferred bundle by dialing *450#.
