Tic Tac walking out on GHOne mornings show co-host, Baiswaa Dowuona-Hammond during an interview this week. In that live interview, Tic Tac took offence when he saw that Shatta Wale’s video was being played while he was being interviewed.

At that he said “Sorry, I cannot continue with this interview;” and left the set while the show was still ongoing. To him, it was completely unacceptable for another musician’s (a rival for that matter) video to be played while he was the one being interviewed. His decision to walk out on the presenter was applauded by some entertainment enthusiasts while others criticized him.

The biggest support however, came from Shatta Wale himself, when he congratulated Tic Tac for walking off the set. Shatta Wale’s congratulatory message to Tic Tac surprised many because they thought he was going ‘roar’ again.

Tic Tac, breaking his silence after storming out the GHOne studios has confessed that he wasn’t happy with what the TV station did yesterday. He stated that GHOne TV has betrayed the respect for had for them as a reputable media organization. Tic Tac also said he is really disappointed in GHOne for not honouring their part of an agreement made before that interview was started. According to him, he had earlier informed the producer and hosts of the ‘GH Today’ show that he would want any of his three new videos to be played as the interview went on.

All involved agreed upon this condition, Tic Tac stressed. Half-way through the interview, he was being asked some questions about his choice of performing in Ayalolo buses and his feud with dancehall king Shatta Wale. Tic Tac narrated that he never realized Shatta Wale’s video was being played all that while until he turned to see the video on a screen projected in the studio.

This, he said, hurt him very much. “I really respect GHOne as a respected media station but they betrayed me.” “The only thing I managed to say before leaving the set was “Sorry, I cannot continue with this interview because I really respected the platform,” Tic Tac stressed.

Tic Tac says he subscribes to the saying “Silent is golden” therefore he felt being silent on the incident and walking away was the best option. The ‘Mmaa Formular’ crooner further asserted that he really suffered before making a name for himself in the industry and so he was not ready to promote other musician’s brand at the expense of his.

“I remember when I had to roam the streets of Accra with a bag behind me all in the name of looking for a producer.” “It is by the Grace of God that I started my music in 1993 so I won’t allow anyone to look down on my brand because I believe in myself,” Tic Tac said forcefully.

He further apologized to his fans for that unfortunate development.
