Meghan’s dad, Thomas Markle, just gave an insanely explosive interview with The Daily Mail, claiming that his daughter and Prince Harry never bothered sending him an invite to the Royal Wedding.
“I never got a wedding invitation,” Thomas said. “At first I thought, ‘That’s OK, because I’m part of the wedding,’ but I would have loved to have had an invitation to put in a frame.”
Thomas also claims to have requested that Meghan send invites to members of his family. Which she apparently she didn’t do.
“I asked Meghan to send invitations to all my family,” Thomas explained. “I told her they wouldn’t be able to come because they would never be able to afford the flight but that it would be a nice gesture on her part. Of course that didn’t happen.”
But there are more things Thomas would like to complain about.
The father-of-the-bride also claims that two reps from Los Angeles’ British consulate showed up at the home of Meghan’s mother Doria Ragland, and presented her with an official scroll featuring the Queen’s formal wedding announcement.
“No one came to my door in Mexico,” Thomas said, sounding not-at-all bitter and resentful. “I would have liked the engagement announcement too.”
