This Account Has The Smartest Way Of Protesting Instagram’s Ban On Female Nipples

For reasons best known to them, the good guys at Instagram do not like the sight of the female nipple. Their nudity policy, permits photos of male nipples but doesn’t extend the same goodwill to their female counterparts.

And one Instagram account is protesting this ban on female nipples in the smartest way by messing with their head, literally.

The account, @genderless_nipples, posts up-close pictures of nipples making it difficult to tell if they belong to a man or a woman.

The images confuse Instagram so much that they sometimes, take down a picture of a male nipple mistaking it for a female nipple which goes to show that there isn’t really that much of a difference between the two. So, why malign one and leave the other?

 

With 35,000 followers and counting, it’s clear that @genderless_nipples’ cause is one supported by a great deal of people and hopefully it will get Instagram to review the sexist policy and #FreeTheNipple.
