Lamisi throws more light on new single ‘The Way You Control’ ahead of debut album release

Rising Ghanaian Afropop and Traditional Songstress, Lamisi, is currently on media tour ahead of her debut album release. She is promoting a latest single titled “The Way You Control” off the maiden album “Brighter Side” due for official release on February 23, 2019.

Mr. Handsome hosted her on Rainbow FM on Saturday, January 26. She threw more light on the song and production works for the forthcoming album.

She jazzed up the studio when she teased the host with the force that triggered her to record a song of such magnitude, owing to top notch sound quality, ‘meaningful’ lyrics and storyline.

Going forward she registered few challenges she faces as an artiste. Exemplifying how difficult it was for her to mobilize instrumentalists to finish her forthcoming album since live recording was involved during production. It’s a 12-tracked dynamic album with fusion of afrosoul, afropop, afrojazz and ‘your favorite music genre’ she says you’d have to find out when album drops on February 23rd.
