“Kindness is a language which the deaf can hear and the blind can see.” The courtesy of kindness has been failed in its contest as it is been capitalized on to commit crimes which has led to the failure of the entertainment industry today.

The unreadiness of quality promotion , advertisement and unwillingness to nurture and train upcoming talents has contributed immensely to the “dying” state of showbiz in the country as fellow Nigerians in showbiz have contributed to the growth of their country through entertainment. The likes of Wizkid, Davido, Tiwa Savage and Mr Eazi have been able to break all barriers to penetrate the international market and have more shows to play as compared to Ghana.

Ghanaian DJ and host of the Yaad settings (sound system culture and reggae dancehall show on Hitz 103.9 fm) and Co- Founder of Lagazee sound international with Selector Garlic, Isaac Tetteh Monney, known in showbiz as King Lagazee has been recognized for his unconditional support for Reggae and Dancehall Genre and sound clash show on radio, set to interview musicians across the world. Though he faced challenges putting resources and energy together to actualize his dream, he didn’t give up on promoting artists and organizing seminars to put Ghana on the map; no wonder the Reggae and Dancehall genre has gained recognition internationally .

The DJ also a Farmer and entrepreneur has urged all to watch out as there are bigger things to come. These are the selfless persons needed to elevate the standard of showbusiness in our country.

“Gratitude can transform common days into thanksgiving, turn routine jobs into joy and change ordinary opportunities into blessings.” Ghanaians are grateful, King Lagaaze for working tirelessly to promote and elevate the Reggae and Dancehall Genre however celebrities are charged to help build and shape the situation of showbiz in the country.
