What does day 2 have to offer you may ask?
The Palace of the Lost City hotel is part of Sun International’s Sunlux Collection of 5-star establishments and is styled in opulent African colours and architectural features. After breakfast, the day kicked off with an exploration of the palace.
Guests fascinated at the fact that the palace brought back memories of the movie “Blended” which was filmed on location there. The palace is opulent and lavish, and the tour guide made to mention that both Oprah Winfrey and Michael Jackson had stayed in the Presidential suites at some points, this had all the guests wanting to lie on the bed.
MTN Project fame winner Okiemute Ighorodje is also along on the trip, enjoying South African with one- time winner superstar Praiz; they both couldn’t resist a ballad together when they spotted the grand piano.
The Palace is close to various activities on the resort – two of these being the legendary Lost City Golf Course as well as the Maze of the Lost City. After breakfasts, guests started of exploring the jungle of the lost city.
Quad biking!! The call of adventure is to try something new and spirited. Guests indulged in a quad biking adventure around the African bush in a private game park named Letsatsing near Sun City and the Pilanesberg National Park. Instructors were on hand to assist with grips with the four wheelers, guests encountered wildlife; Impala, majestic giraffes, and rhino footprints were spotted.
A mid afternoon Spa treatment was a great way to relax further. From lunch to dinner, the guests enjoyed the variety of restaurants and bars offering the finest cuisine and fine South African wines.
