We see in the news and hear on radio these days about people pouring acids on their fellow human beings, people setting houses on fire and destroying properties running into millions of Ghana cedis ; people butchering others with machetes, inflicting severe wounds on them and sometimes killing them, among others. All of these things come about as a result of anger and this has influenced our decision to initiate and champion a strong campaign against TECA, The Enemy Called Anger (kill it), most importantly in this election year . We seek to educate the general public on anger and its devastating effect on us as individuals, our friends, families and the society as a whole and how to manage it to promote a peaceful coexistence most importantly.
We have begun with the first face of the project by starting an online and social media awareness campaign, with the hush tug, #TECA_Kill_It. The official campaign would be launched in August.
This year alone Renel Ghana Foundation has undertaken projects all over the country. Some of such projects are the Renel Sex education tour project in the Brong Ahafo Region of Ghana, donating 5,000 exercise books with stationeries and teaching materials to deprived villages, supporting a hole in heart patient at the Korle- Bu Teaching Hospital among others.
We entreat the general public to come on board as we Promote Peace, by learning how The Enemy Called Anger ‘#TECA_Kill_It’, can destroy our future in several ways and how to control or manage it when it shows up.
