Osagie Alonge also known as Osagz broke the internet with his latest Loose Talk podcast where he discussed some issues and dragged some celebrities notably, Wizkid and singer Teni.
The popular critic and his co-hosts Ayomide Tayo and Steve Dede had quite a lot to say about Teni’s looks.
Osagie said,
I was gonna link her up with a top exec, before the Fargin record came out…and the person told me the looks doesn’t work for me. If she can be like a singer songwriter yes!
They also said her hit song Askmaya would have been a bigger hit if she had sold it to Tiwa Savage or Niniola,
The trio went as far as comparing her ‘imagery issues’ with DMX, Missy Elliot
Although they stated how sad it wad the industry relies heavily on looks, Steve Dede and Ayomide Tayo both agree that these days Talent is like 5% while looks is paramount.
After receiving heavy backlash on social media following their comments, Osagie issued an apology to Teni via his Instagram account
“…We discussed how you are regarded as a brilliant songwriter and how it could also be a successful venture if the Nigerian entertainment industry does support writers.Some of my comments have been taken out of context…”
Teni and her management are however, yet to make any statement.
