One time music executive Suge Knight has sued Dr. Dre for trying to kill him over his Beats By Dre deal with Apple.
According to Knight, he had a lifetime management deal with Dre, and was promised a 30% cut of his entertainment earnings.
He added that Apple didn’t want him to come with the Beats by Dre deal, so they tried to get him out of the picture by killing him.
Knight was shot 7 times in the abdomen during the BET Awards weekend in 2014. According to him, a man named T-Money was questioned by the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept, and confessed that Dre hired him to kill Suge.
He is suing Dre alongside Apple and Universal, and reportedly wants his $300 million from Dre’s $1 billion Apple deal.
