Ghanaian Reggae and Dancehall icon Stonebwoy’s concert dubbed ‘BhimNation for Peace concert’ which took place last night at the Saka Saka Park in Ashaiman “pulled over 30,000 audience,” according to Stonebwoy who captioned a snippet on his Instagram post.
Despite the heavy downpour before the concert and later hours during the concert, nothing stopped the fans from patronizing the show; it was a heavily-attended one and saw thousands of fans troop in from Ashaiman and other part of the country to catch a glimpse of the BhimNation president and other performers on the night.
The downpour of rain didn’t stop fans from singing along and enjoying performances throughout the night from show stoppers such as Samini, Sarkodie, Kwaw Kese, VVIP, Yaa Pono, Ras Kuuku, Iwan, Criss Waddle, Donzy, Rudebwoy Ranking, Bastero, Article Wan, Medikal, Dem Tinz, DXD, Agbeshie and Eye Judah just to name a few.
The concert began a few minutes after 8:00pm with the up and coming acts gracing the platform as usual. Stonebwoy who is arguably the most active and reigning Reggae/Dancehall artiste on the continent got on stage at about 2:30am and thrilled fans with back to back tunes from his numerous collections.
The stage, lighting and entire setup was great but like all other events there were flaws on the night with coordination and security. Hence the Burniton Music Group apologized for any discomfort.
Big up the Burniton Music Group for a great work done. Bhim we say!!!
