English Musician, Gordon Matthew Thomas Sumner better known as Sting in the entertainment sphere’s joint Reggae album, “44/876” with Jamaican Reggae Singer and EX Marine Shaggy born Orville Richard Burrell wins the Gramophone for the Best Reggae Album at the 61st Grammy Awards.

“44/876” which was officially released April 20, 2018. The 16 Tracklisted album was distributed and marketed by A&M and Interscope Records.
The 61st Annual Grammy Award which was held on February 10, 2019 at the Microsoft Theater in Downtown, Los Angeles was hosted by American Singer, Alicia Keyes and Reggae Singer, Shaggy.
Sting’s joint Album with Shaggy, “44/876” competed with Black Uhuru’s “As The World Turns”, Etana’s “Reggae Forever”, Ziggy Marley’s “Rebellion Rises” and Protoje’s “A Matter Of Time”.
This award adds to Shaggy’s history as his first Grammys win out of seven (7) Nominations and the sixteenth(16) gramophone for Sting out of Forty-Five (45) Nominations.
English Singer, Sting won his first Grammys at the 23rd Annual Grammy Award in 1980 for the Best Rock Instrumental Performance with “Reggatta De Blanc”.
