Breast cancer is a disease that affects both the body and mind. Beyond the obvious stress of being diagnosed and needing various treatments, you may experience physical changes. Some of these physical changes, including:

• a lump in your breast or a thickening of the breast tissue

• unusual or bloody discharge from your nipples

• newly inverted nipples

• skin changes on or around your breasts

• size or shape changes in your breasts

Only but few woman are able to survive such a tragic situation by God’s intervention and undergoing safe surgery depending on the nature of their situation. Such woman are popularly identified as “She Heroes”. Notable women like Stephanie Benson, Judith Ellen Awuah and Dorothy Amuah are survivors of breast cancer. It’s factual that going through breast cancer surgery is no joke.  Based on the experience the names mentioned above had while they battled with breast cancer, they intend to share their various survival stories to encourage women, ladies and young girls to visit the hospital regularly for breast cancer screening to avoid any future misfortunes.

October been breast cancer awareness month and due to their survival stories, Glitz Africa decided to map out and an ideal program called “She Boss” private networking to such women who survived breast cancer and educate the public. A program that seek to educate women, ladies and young girls the deadly effects of breast cancer and the importance of going for screening. On the 28/10/2017, legal practioner cum celebrities Sandra Ankobra will be hosting Stephine Benson, Judith Ellen Awuah and Dorothy Amuah at Patagonia Villagio, ATLO 6:00 pm prompt.
